An account of the astronomical work done by John Tebbutt at the Peninsula, Windsor from 1853 to the close of 1907. An introduction to the reprint of the 1908 memoirs by Graeme White, CSIRO Division of Radiophysics puts Tebbutt’s work into historical context – he discovered two significant comets and published some 371 scientific papers (up to 1907) in both international and local journals. Addition material includes the history and description of the Observatory, the Tebbutt family tree, articles about Tebbutt and his obituary (died Nov. 29, 1916). Hardcover, 154pgs, illustrations, memoirs initially published 1908. No. 79 of a Limited Edition of 100 copies signed by the great grandson of John Tebbutt. As new except jacket with slight damage. .
